Untitled Story (For Now) Chapter 1

     It was late at night, specifically 2 A.M. in the city of Galveston. All the residents were either turning in to bed had already done so, but I refused to conform to their routine. This was because I was on my computer researching several reports of tuna fish thefts around the city. Thoughts were racing through my mind, taking guesses of who was probably committing the thefts. There were pictures of huge tuna fish cleanly bitten of half. "Clearly this is the work of someone who has razor sharp teeth and a huge mouth.", I thought to myself. "After all, human-animal hybrids are living on this planet as well." The pictures of the half-eaten fish caused my slightly distended stomach to growl, causing me to rub it gently with my hand. I then looked at a skeleton that was sitting on a table across the room. "Now that was a good turkey.", I whispered to myself while leaning back in my chair.

     Suddenly I heard a faint splashing sound coming from my large pool. As I was only wearing boxers, I put on my robe and walked to the back door. I slid open the panel of glass and looked at the pool. There was water swirling everywhere, but I couldn't see what was causing it. I then looked at my bong which was sitting next to my computer. "I swear it's just another trip.", I told myself. Then I looked back at the swirling pool. The churning slowed down, but then I felt something slap my back, pushing me into the pool. "Whoa!", I shouted, my body splashing the water and my robe soaking it up. I swam up to the surface and spit out some water. Then my stomach felt tighter. I looked down at it saw that it was even bigger. "I must have swallowed at least a gallon." Suddenly it started to cramp a little, sending a bit of pain through my body. Instinctively, I swam to the edge and tried to get out. But that only made it cramp even more. I winced and clutched my stomach even tighter. My body suddenly started to sink as my eyes closed. Then I lost consciousness, but not before feeling two arms wrap around me.

     When I regained it, my body jolted awake with a gasp escaping my mouth. A burp also went out as well. I looked at my stomach, which had shrunken by a good amount. "Are you alright?", I heard a female voice say behind me. I turned around in my bed to find a human-shark hybrid sitting next to me. Being female, she had rather sizable breasts, each one twice the size of her head. They and her underbelly were gloriously white,  which complemented her gray body. Her hair was slightly dark blue, with it ending just past her cheeks. But it was her yellow eyes that were the most striking of all. My own eyes, which were brown, peered into them. She swayed her tail around a bit before asking again, "Are you alright?" I nodded slowly, then my stomach growled again. My cheeks turned red, but she just giggled. "I assume it was you who left that turkey skeleton on the table." "Yes...", I answered. Suddenly she hurked and the head of a tuna fish flew out of her mouth and hit me in the face. "Ow!" "Sorry!", she said while taking the head and swallowing it back down. Then the truth had finally dawned on me, but suddenly she looked familiar.

     "Wait a minute. Didn't I see you on the beach two months ago?" The woman nodded. "Yes, you did. I was picking up the carcass of a beached dolphin. However, food's been scarce, so I resorted to stealing fish." I nodded in understanding. "Well, you were hungry, but stealing like that can get you into trouble if you get caught." She said to me, "I see you were investigating it." "Well, to tell you the truth, I don't like police.", I replied, "So I'm not gonna rat on you. In fact, I actually like solving mysteries on my own." Suddenly the woman's stomach growled, making me point to the fridge. "I'll make a deal with you, Miss, um..." "Audrey.", she said. "Well, nice to meet you, Audrey. I'm Jack." Then I continued. "Here's the deal. If you manage to eat all the food stored in the fridge, you get to live with me." She raised an eyebrow at this. "Any other catch?" "No,", I replied, "unless you want me to bring in a catch from the sea." That made her giggle. "Okay, so the other catch is, if you use my pool, make sure to decorate it however you want. I don't like it whenever someone feels uncomfortable. And the final catch, you accompany on my future outings at sea, so we can make catches of our own. No more stealing fish or scouring for carcasses." Audrey licked her lips. "Sounds tasty to me."

     We both chuckled and seconds later she walked to the fridge, soon standing in front of it. "Are you sure you want me to eat all of it? Your stomach growled as well, which means you're still hungry." This made me stand up and walk to my closet. Curious, Audrey walked over and stood next to me. That's when I discovered she was about 10 feet tall, with me being 6 feet 2 inches. I opened the doors, revealing 25 trophies. Audrey was amazed. "So you're a competitive eater?" I nodded. "Loud and proud.", I replied while patting my gut. Audrey put a hand on it, her blue nails slowly running across the skin. I blushed a little more. She went back to the fridge and opened it. Immediately she squealed in delight. "Yay! Meat galore!" Audrey took everything out and set it on the table. "Let see here. 47 sausages, 5 hams, 3 tunas, 18 chickens, 7 steaks, 14 turkeys, and 133 meatballs." "You saved my life, Audrey. You deserve a home." Audrey looked at me. "I'm sorry for pushing you into the pool, Jack. I didn't want you to catch me." "It's fine Audrey. Now you just eat to your heart's content. It's 5 o'clock right now. I'll be in the pool until 7." Audrey nodded as I walked out the door.

     When I was finally in the water, she started eating the meats, starting with the hams. One by one, they went down her throat, followed by 3 chickens at a time. The turkeys got swallowed in pairs, soon being joined by the sausages. She then proceeded to swallow the steaks as well. 2 tunas then met the same fate. As for the meatballs, she just chewed her way through the them with her pearly white and sharp teeth until they were all eaten. Her eyes looked down at her belly, which had stretched out halfway across the table. Eyeing the last tuna, she picked it up by the tail and made her way to the pool, her belly bouncing up and down and swaying from side to side the whole way. Meanwhile, my back was facing the door when a shadow crept up on me. "Oh, Jack.", Audrey giggled.

     I turned around and there she was, with her belly clearly indicating that she made a pig of herself, or a shark for that matter. Then I saw the tuna in her hand. She tossed it into the air and opened her mouth wide. The fish fell in headfirst and she swallowed. The tuna made a huge bulge in her throat as it went down, soon ending up in her belly and making it slightly bigger. "Now that's a good girl.", I remarked as she walked to the edge and lowered herself into the water. Audrey smiled at me and I smiled back at her. "So what time do we fish?", she asked rather eagerly. I replied, "Noon." Audrey nodded and swam towards me, then embraced me with her well toned arms, squishing my face into her bust. "Thank you, Jack." "No problem, Audrey.", I muffled out. She tousled my bed headed black hair and continued to embrace me as the sun started to rise on the watery horizon.
